Hamid Syed wins 13th Graduate Engineering Research Showcase (GERS) 2026

Hamid, a PhD Candidate in our department, was awarded the Biosystems Engineering Winner Award, receiving a plaque and cheque at the 13th Graduate Engineering Research Showcase (GERS) 2026. 

His research on a Hybrid Aerial-Ground Robotic System for Agriculture is shaping the future of smart farming with a strong real-world impact. Alongside this recognition, Hamid has also received a PEER Grant from AAES as Lead PI on the same project, a true reflection of his growing impact.
