Graduate Research Assistantship Opportunity (M.S.)
OpenThe Smart Systems Engineering Laboratory in the Department of Biosystems Engineering at Auburn University is seeking a motivated and highly driven M.S. student to join our research team in the area of Swarm Robotics and Intelligent Autonomous Systems.
Research Area
The selected student will work on cutting-edge research involving:
- Swarm robotics and multi-agent coordination
- Autonomous robotic systems
- Distributed sensing and control
- AI and machine learning for robotic applications
- Field robotics and smart systems integration

Preferred candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

- Interest or experience in robotics, embedded systems, AI, or autonomous systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication abilities
Prior experience in robotics, simulation environments, UAVs/UGVs, or multi-agent systems is highly desirable but not mandatory.
