Faraz Ahmad Defends M.S. Thesis on Specialty Crop Automation

Congratulations to Faraz Ahmad on the successful defense of his M.S. thesis, “Advancing Specialty Crop Automation: Intelligent Robotic Systems for Navigation, Monitoring, and Analytics in Controlled and Field Environments.”

 

Faraz's research focused on developing intelligent robotic solutions to enhance automation in specialty crop production, integrating advanced navigation, crop monitoring, and data analytics capabilities across both controlled-environment and field settings. His work contributes to the growing field of agricultural robotics by improving the efficiency, scalability, and precision of crop management systems.

 

The thesis defense committee included Dr. Jeremy Pickens and Dr. Harman Sangha. The research was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Tanzeel Rehman, Principal Investigator of the lab.
